Job summary

Barleylands Farm Day Nursery is seeking a passionate Early Years Educator to join our Baby team on a maternity cover basis, working 4/4.5 days per week.

Based at Barleylands Farm, we offer nature-based learning, outdoor play, and opportunities to explore and develop curiosity every day. You’ll build warm relationships with children and families and support development.

This is a full-time role (36–40 hours) over 4/4.5 days, with potential for permanent placement.>

Qualifications

• A recognised Early Years qualification – Level 3 or above.
• Previous childcare experience, ideally within a day nursery setting.
• Genuine passion for Early Years education.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and flexible approach.

• Build warm, positive relationships with children and families.
• Support children’s learning and development through play and exploration.
• Create exciting activities based around children’s interests and curiosity.
