Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking Nursery Assistants to support local Primary schools and nurseries in Scunthorpe. Roles are full time, part time, with long-term and short-term placements, offering pay from £15 to £17 per hour and opportunities to gain valuable classroom experience.

Ideal candidates have a Level 2+ Childcare qualification or a related Education/Early Years degree, plus a teaching degree is a plus. DBS and background checks are required, with welcome CPD and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Achieved or studying a Level 2+ Childcare qualification or a degree relating to Education/Early Years
• Demonstrate initiative and ability to work well in a team
• Be flexible and willing to adapt to various educational settings
• Enhanced DBS disclosure and right to work in the UK
• CV covers all employment history
• Inspire and progress students from diverse backgrounds and ages

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group support in classrooms/nurseries
