Job summary

Bright Horizons Poole Montessori is seeking an Early Years Assistant to care for babies and young children up to age 5 at our Poole nursery. You will join a team delivering engaging play, reading, and activities to support development and milestones.

The role is part-time (15 hours per week) with a pay of £12.75 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience. Benefits include DBS checks, childcare discount, and a supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is ideal but not essential.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.

Responsibilities

• Look after babies and children up to age 5 as part of a team.
• Facilitate interactive play, activities, reading and curiosity.
• Support colleagues in each child’s development toward key milestones.
