Bright Horizons Worthing Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Early Years Assistant to look after babies and children up to age 5, providing safe, nurturing care through interactive play, reading, and developmental activities. You will join a team guided by HEART principles—Honesty, Excellence, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork—working with colleagues and parents to support each child’s milestones.

The Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
