Bright Horizons The Park Day Nursery and Preschool in Watford is seeking an Early Years Assistant to join a caring team. The role supports babies and children up to age five through interactive play, reading, and development activities.

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, permanent contract, with DBS checks prior to appointment. The nursery holds an Ofsted rating of Good and is located in a converted Victorian house with easy access to Watford town centre and transport links.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents.
• Able to use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Look after babies and children up to age 5 as part of a team.
• Engage in interactive play, activities, reading and encouraging curiosity.
• Support colleagues with each child’s development towards key milestones.
