Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Nursery is seeking a full-time Early Years Assistant to join our team at Saffron Walden. The role involves looking after babies and children up to 5 years old, supporting their development through play, reading, and interactive activities.

You will work with colleagues in a friendly environment within the nursery grounds, with on-site parking and staff facilities. DBS checks are required as part of safer recruitment.

Salary -From £27,976.00 (dependant on qualification/s and experience)

Location- Saffron Walden

Hours - Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week

We're looking for a full time Early Years Assistant to join our Bright Horizons Saffron Walden Nursery. Our nursery is situated in the grounds of the Saffron Walden County High School. The nursery offers on-site parking with an inviting staff room regularly stocked with goodies for the staff to enjoy.

The Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds - supporting colleagues with each child's development towards their key milestones.

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential - Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
