Location:

Leatherhead, Surrey

We are looking for a full-time, passionate Early Years Assistant to join our Bright Horizons Leatherhead Nursery and Preschool, which is situated close to Leatherhead train station with excellent transport links.

The nursery is set within a beautiful, purpose-built setting, comprising 6 individual home-bases tailored to each age group. It also features a large external play area for children to learn and explore!

The Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to care for babies and children up to age 5. Your role involves engaging children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curiosity—supporting colleagues in each child's development towards key milestones.

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience working with children is ideal but not essential—roles such as Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, or Childminder are relevant
• A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to develop trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents
• Effective communication skills with both children and adults
