Job summary

A leading educational agency is seeking an Early Years Assistant in Eastbourne to support children ages 0-5 in a term-time role. Ideal candidates will hold a Level 2 qualification in Childcare or a Childhood Studies degree, and have a passion for child development. Are you a Childhood Studies graduate or hold a Level 2 qualification in Childcare and looking to take the next step in your early years career?

GSL Education are recruiting an Early Years Assistant for a nurturing setting in Eastbourne. This is a great opportunity for graduates or Level 2–qualified practitioners looking to gain classroom experience, especially if you're working towards your Level 3.

About the Role:
This full–time, term–time role involves supporting children aged 0 5 with day–to–day routines, play–based learning, and emotional development. You ll work closely with teachers and key workers to help deliver the EYFS curriculum in a warm, engaging environment.

Key Requirements:

• Level 2 in Childcare or Childhood Studies Degree (or equivalent)
• Passion for early years education and child development
• Some experience with under 5s in a nursery, school, or placement setting
• A positive, caring and proactive attitude
• An up–to–date CV and anEnhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
