Job description

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated volunteer to assist with Maroondah City Council’s Supported Playgroup Program.

Under the guidance of the Maroondah Supported Playgroup Facilitator, the Volunteer Supported Playgroup Assistant will assist with:

  • set up and pack up of toys and equipment
  • general clean up and preparation of morning tea

You will need:

  • You will have a passion for working alongside parents and children supporting the play group facilitator to provide a safe, welcoming space to play and learn and connect with others.
  • You will have excellent communication skills including being able to take direction from the Supported playgroup facilitator.
  • Working With Children Check ID Card
