We’re looking for an Early Years Assistant to join our Chigwell Day Nursery and Preschool.

Our Chigwell setting is located very close to Buckhurst Hill and Chigwell Tube stations, making it a convenient setting for commuting parents. It also features onsite parking.

The Role

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to age 5. You will engage children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curiosity – supporting colleagues with each child's development towards key milestones.

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience working with children is ideal but not essential – roles such as Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder, or similar
• A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to build trust and strong partnerships with colleagues and parents
• Effective communication skills with children and adults
