Job summary

Ragamuffins Day Nursery Limited in Redditch is offering two Nursery Assistant Apprenticeships at Birmingham Road. You will study toward your Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship Level 2/Level 3, depending on experience.

Hours are Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00, 38 hours per week, duration 1 year. Most of your apprenticeship is spent working on the job, learning on-site with experienced educators to support care, learning and development of children from birth to five years.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship toward Early Years Practitioner Level 2/3 based on experience.
• On‑the‑job learning with practical childcare duties.
• Hours are Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00, 38 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing nurturing care and learning opportunities for children.
• Help plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities aligned with EYFS.
• Observe and record children's milestones and progress.
• Support health, safety and safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with parents about progress.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
