Job summary

Padiwacks.co.uk Ltd in Padiham, Burnley, is seeking an Early Years Apprentice (must already be level 2 qualified EYP) to join our nursery. You will teach children, support their development and work with a team of experienced staff on-site.

We cover DBS, first aid and all relevant training with our in-house provider at site. 30–35 hours per week; based at Padiwacks, 1 Wyre Street, Padiham, BB12 8DF.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified to minimum level 2 in childcare and have completed your first year of training at college.
• We will also consider anybody due to qualify in August 2026.

Responsibilities

• Teach children and help them learn and develop.
• Work with experienced staff, including level 4, 6 and qualified teachers.
• Use electronic learning journals to track children’s progress for parents.
