Job summary

The Old Station Nursery Group in Alvechurch is offering an Early Years Apprentice role. You will spend 20% of your week in training while gaining hands-on experience in a nurturing environment.

You will help create a warm space where children thrive, engage in play-based EYFS activities, support milestones, and build strong relationships with families. This role involves 40 hours per week across four fixed days, with onboarding and DBS checks provided.

Responsibilities

• Spend 20% of your week in training and the rest gaining hands-on experience in a nurturing environment.
• Help create a warm, fun, and safe space where children thrive.
• Engage children in play-based activities inspired by the EYFS framework.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Support children's developmental milestones and communicate progress to parents.
• Assist with daily routines, maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene and care.
