Job summary

The Cheshire Day Nursery Winwick in Warrington offers an Early Years Apprentice position. You’ll work 40 hours per week Mon-Fri, with shifts agreed at offer, and you’ll train on the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship with Realise.

You will support children’s development, wellbeing and play, promote safety, build relationships, and assist the Nursery Management Team toward an Ofsted Outstanding grade. Benefits include uniform, childcare discount and staff rewards.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills alongside the apprenticeship.
• Friendly, enthusiastic and patient with children.
• Willingness to progress in early years education.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive relationships in the setting.
• Promote the health, safety and well-being of the children.
• Support the children’s development, learning and play.
• Support key persons in building relationships with a group of children and families.
• Contribute to teamwork and be a role model for high-quality practice.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed in line with Local Authority and Company procedures.
• Support Nursery Management in achieving an Ofsted outstanding grade.
