Bloom is recruiting an Early Years Apprentice in Liverpool to begin on 02/11/2026. You will plan and deliver play activities, support children’s numeracy, literacy and language development, and act as the key person to help children feel safe and valued.

The role leads toward Level 3 Early Years Educator with on‑the‑job training and DBS clearance through Safer Recruitment. The position runs 38–40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a competitive weekly salary (£304–£531.62).

Qualifications

• Grade 3 in English and maths preferred but not required
• Willingness to learn and commit to the apprenticeship
• DBS check required as part of Safer Recruitment

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out child-initiated and adult-led play activities
• Support numeracy, literacy and language development
• Serve as key person to help children feel safe, secure and valued
• Carry out observations and plan for individual needs
• Assist with care routines with respect and compassion
• Collaborate with parents and professionals to meet children's needs
• Ensure welfare, wellbeing and safeguarding are reported to the supervisor
