About Kido

What We Offer

On L2 Apprenticeship

• Salary: £18,200 for full-time, 40 hours/week
• Salary upon qualification: £26,000

On L3 Apprenticeship

• Salary: £19,240 for full-time, 40 hours/week
• Pay increase after Level 2 sign-off: up to £21,320
• Second-year uplift to minimum wage for age
• Post-qualification salary: at least £26,499 plus a £500 bonus

Role Overview

As an Apprentice, you'll gain hands-on experience and work towards a recognized early years qualification. The Level 3 course takes about 1.5 years, with options to achieve Level 2 sooner. The role involves supporting the team to provide a safe, inspiring environment, engaging children in activities aligned with EYFS, communicating effectively with parents and colleagues, ensuring safeguarding, assisting with mealtimes, and respecting diversity.

Candidate Requirements

• No prior qualifications needed for Level 3 role; passion for Early Years required
• Experience with children preferred
• Right to work in the UK and UK residency for 3+ years
• Maths and English GCSE desirable; functional skills tests or equivalents required if not held
• Aligned with core values: Listen, Learn, Lead
• Will undergo background checks including DBS and criminal record disclosure
