Job summary

Acorn Nursery, Stanwick is offering an Early Years Apprentice position in Stanwick. The role supports children through play-based learning while you work towards a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.

You will be part of a nurturing team open from 7.30am to 6.15pm, with strong emphasis on family involvement, safeguarding and professional development as part of a not-for-profit childcare provider.

Qualifications

• Interest in early years education and play-based learning.
• Willingness to balance work with study commitments.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the nursery team while completing your qualification.
• Learn how to support children’s learning, development and play.
• Help create a warm, safe and stimulating environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Gain experience in EYFS practice and safeguarding procedures.
