Bright Horizons Harwell Day Nursery in Harwell, Oxfordshire is seeking an Early Years Apprentice to care for babies and children up to age 5. You will learn through practical activities, supported by assessors, and complete required coursework for your formal qualification.

The role includes a structured apprenticeship with training, a pension, and wellbeing support. Demonstrated commitment to learning and safeguarding childcare is required.

Qualifications

• GCSE Grade C/Level 4 or above or Functional Skills Level 2.
• Willingness to complete apprenticeship.
• Previous childcare experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead early years practitioner with daily routines.
• Support children’s learning through play, reading and activities.

This nursery cares for up to 94 children aged 3 months to 5 years. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – creating learning opportunities that support the children’s learning. With the support of your assessor, you will attend all required training and coursework for completion of your formal qualification.
