Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Ipswich is seeking a HGV Class 2 Dray Driver to join our team. This customer-facing role focuses on delivering quality service while building relationships with pubs, restaurants and hotels.

As a driver you will work Monday to Friday early starts, with some Saturdays, delivering alcohol and handling up to 11 tonnes of stock. You will work with a Driver's Mate to manage PODs and keep the transport team updated.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (C) Licence.
• Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Multi-drop HGV driving experience is desirable.
• Dray or similar delivery experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver alcoholic products to pubs, restaurants, and hotels.
• Complete 10-12 drops per day.
• Manually handle up to 11 tonnes of stock daily.
• Drive safely and in compliance with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Work with a Driver's Mate to unload and manage PODs.
