Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an HGV Class 1 Dray Driver for a permanent full-time role in Totton, Hampshire. The role is customer-facing with a focus on building relationships while delivering excellent service.

Shift patterns include early starts from 04:00 with Monday–Friday work and 4 Saturdays per year, delivering alcohol to pubs, restaurants and hotels. You will work with a Driver's Mate to unload, manage PODs and keep the transport team updated, while adhering to health and safety practices

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence – Essential
• Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card – Essential
• No more than 6 penalty points – Essential
• Multi-drop HGV driving experience – Desirable
• Dray or similar delivery experience – Desirable

Responsibilities

• Delivering alcoholic products to pubs, restaurants and hotels
• Completing 10–12 drops per day (on average)
• Managing manual handling of up to 11 tonnes of stock daily
• Driving safely and in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive
• Maintaining Health & Safety and road/vehicle compliance
• Working with a Driver's Mate to support unloading and PODs
