Job summary

Driver Hire Swindon is seeking an experienced Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our client’s team in Swindon on a temp-to-perm basis. You will deliver food stock to clients safely, professionally and on time, representing the company with a customer‑focused approach.

Key requirements include a valid Class 2 licence, CPC and Tachograph card, and previous Class 2 driving experience. The role starts early at 6:00 AM, Monday to Friday, with pay at £18.49 per hour and potential permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 licence (Cat C).
• Hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience.
• Be reliable, punctual and professional.
• Have good communication and customer service skills.
• Be physically fit and able to load/unload.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Delivering food stock to clients across local area and surrounding locations.
• Loading and unloading goods as required.
• Completing delivery paperwork and relevant documentation.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.
• Following all driving, health and safety regulations.
