Our client is currently seeking a Biologics Early Process Associate Scientist/Scientist to join a leading biotechnology company based in West London. As the Biologics Early Process Associate Scientist/Scientist, you will be responsible for developing processes to produce biologics-based drugs.

Our client is currently seeking a Biologics Early Process Associate Scientist/Scientist to join a leading biotechnology company based in West London. As the Biologics Early Process Associate Scientist/Scientist, you will be responsible for developing processes to produce biologics-based drugs.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

Your duties as the Biologics Early Process Associate Scientist/Scientist will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Independently undertake a range of biochemistry techniques to develop biologics drug processes from the bioreactor to the finished drug substance.
  • Generate timely purification experiments and conduct independent investigations into bioprocess development.
  • Assist with the purification and characterisation of proteins and develop new purification methodologies for Downstream Processing.
  • Maintain high standards of record-keeping and documentation, including laboratory notebooks, electronic records, and training materials.

Role Requirements

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Biologics Early Process Associate Scientist/Scientist, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  • Relevant degree in a related field such as Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a similar discipline.
  • Proven industry experience in antibody downstream processing and the use of AKTA systems and chromatography theory.
  • A working knowledge and practical experience with process development, process technical transfer, and bioreactors.
