The Biologics Regional Innovation and Technology Ecosystem (BRITE) Project
This 3-year initiative, funded by Research England, focuses on establishing a robust biologics innovation ecosystem across the Liverpool City Region and the Northern Powerhouse. It emphasizes monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and complex medicines, strengthening collaboration between academic institutions and industry partners to accelerate biologics development and commercialization.
About the role
As the Biologics Translational Innovation Manager, you will lead the identification, development, and commercialization of biologics research assets and projects from the BRITE programme.
You will collaborate with academic teams, external partners, and stakeholders to develop commercialization strategies, manage intellectual property, and facilitate the adoption of biologics innovations by public and private sectors.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a flagship regional initiative with national and international relevance in biologics, especially in monoclonal antibodies and advanced therapies. You will also help embed a culture of enterprise, innovation, and translational research at LSTM, supporting BRITE’s objectives and impact goals.
