Job summary

Aligra is recruiting on behalf of a client for a Warehouse Operative role in Stafford (ST16). The position involves scanning, sorting, heavy lifting, and ensuring products are stored and labeled correctly.

The ideal candidate has excellent English, the ability to work 03:00-11:00am, and is reliable with a strong work ethic. Previous warehouse experience is welcome but not essential, with opportunities to progress within the company.

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken and written English skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Availability to work from 03:00-11:00am.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Proficient in using warehouse management systems and scanning devices.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of warehouse tasks, including scanning, sorting and heavy lifting.
• Ensure products are stored and labeled correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines for a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
• Prepare orders for delivery or pickup by checking accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in loading and unloading merchandise from delivery vehicles or containers.
• Use warehouse management systems to input data and track inventory.
• Conduct regular stock checks to identify discrepancies.
