Job summary

Smiths News Drivers is seeking Self-Employed Delivery Contractors to join our Plymouth operation. You will operate a fixed daily route, deliver newspapers and magazines to 20–30 customers, and manage your own schedule with early-morning shifts.

A valid UK/European driving license and access to a 3.5t van are required. We offer weekly pay, full onboarding, flexible 7-day contracts, and a choice of routes to help you grow your own delivery business.

Qualifications

• Valid UK/European driving license (required).
• Access to a 3.5t van (required).
• Self-employed status accepted and welcome.

Responsibilities

• Packing newspapers for your route.
• Completing a fixed route daily.
• Delivering newspapers and magazines to 20–30 customers per day.
• Collecting returned newspapers, magazines and recyclables.
• Scanning newspapers and returns at the depot.
