Job summary

North Lanarkshire Council is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Cleaner to join our school cleaning team. You will help ensure the environment is clean, safe and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors, and you will work both independently and as part of a wider team.

We value practical knowledge of cleaning equipment and health and safety, with full training provided. PVG Scheme membership is required before starting.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning and familiarity with cleaning equipment, materials and health & safety requirements.
• Full training will be provided; understanding of safe working practices would be advantageous.
• PVG Scheme membership required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of hygiene across the school.
