Job summary

RGSS's client is seeking a reliable school cleaner in Tranent for evening shifts. You will be responsible for maintaining clean, safe and welcoming environments within school facilities.

Role offers 30 hours per week with set evening hours: Mon-Thu 4:00pm–10:00pm and Fri 12:30pm–6:30pm. PVG check required and training provided.

• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided

Cleaner - Part-Time Evening Positions

Locations: Tranent

Pay Rate: £13 - £14.50 per hour

Contract Types Available: 30 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

As a School Cleaner, your duties will include:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices and communal areas


• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors


• Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables


• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately


• Dusting and sanitising surfaces


• Ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard


• Following health and safety procedures at all times
