Job summary

Active Force Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Driver’s Mate to join the team serving GL13 and surrounding areas. You will be part of a two-person delivery team, assisting with deliveries of luxury potatoes to businesses, loading and unloading, and ensuring safe, efficient deliveries.

The role is active and hands-on, offering ongoing work with early starts; you will support the driver, handle goods, and maintain professional customer service on every delivery.

Qualifications

• Must be able to reach GL13 for a 5:00am start.
• Experience in driver’s mate, warehouse or delivery roles is beneficial but not required.
• Physically capable of regular lifting and manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist driver with deliveries to local businesses.
• Load and unload delivery vehicle.
• Carry goods into customer premises and keep orders organized.
• Support route planning and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
