Colton Hills is seeking a committed Early Help Prevention Officer and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our safeguarding and inclusion team in Wolverhampton. You will lead Early Help Assessments, coordinate support for vulnerable students and families, and ensure safeguarding concerns are identified and responded to effectively. Fixed term for 12 months.
37 hours per week, 46.5 weeks per year (Term Time + 10 days). Start date 1 December 2026, end date 30 November 2027.

We are seeking to appoint a committed, highly motivated and experienced Early Help Prevention Officer and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our safeguarding and inclusion team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting vulnerable children, young people and families to overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes.
Working closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will play a key role in leading Early Help Assessments, coordinating support for vulnerable students and families, and ensuring safeguarding concerns are identified and responded to effectively. You will contribute to a strong culture of safeguarding across the school and work collaboratively with staff, families and external agencies to promote the welfare, safety and wellbeing of our students.
