Vale of Glamorgan Council in Barry is seeking a supervising manager for the Early Help Advice Line. You will lead a team of advisers, guiding professionals and families with support grounded in Families First guidance and local and national legislation.
The role requires 4 years in Family Support, strong cross-agency collaboration, and experience supervising staff. You will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at BCEC.
The Early Help Advice Line is an integral part of the Vale of Glamorgan’s Integrated Front Door, “The Vale Family Compass”. We provide advice and support for parents, carers, and professionals in the Vale of Glamorgan, on a range of matters including health and wellbeing, family, housing, finance, and education.
Early Help work with children, young people, and families to give the right support at the right time. Pay details: Grade 8 SCP 26-30 £38,510 - £42,123 p.a
Main place of work: Barry Community Enterprise Centre (BCEC)
Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Working pattern: Monday to Friday
Supervise a team of Early Help Advice Line Advisors who provide advice and guidance to professionals and families, initially by telephone and within the home environment in line with the Families First guidance, relevant national standards and local and national legislation and guidance.
