Job summary

Ipsen seeks an experienced Early Development Asset Lead to manage integrated strategies for one or more early-stage assets from nomination through first-in-human trials. You will lead the EDT, coordinating clinical, regulatory, translational, and nonclinical teams to advance programs with scientific rigor and portfolio alignment.

The role requires a PhD/MD/PharmD or equivalent with 10–15 years in multidisciplinary drug development, and strong leadership in a global, matrix organization.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD, PharmD, or relevant advanced degree with substantial drug development experience.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills in matrix environments.
• Experience with translational science and regulatory interactions (IND/CTA).
• Oncology focus with exposure to immuno-oncology or ADCs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Leads one or more Early Development Asset Teams.
• Owns integrated program strategy across preclinical to regulatory activities.
• Represents ED in governance and due diligence discussions as needed.
• Presents plans and risks to governance bodies with scientific credibility.
