If you're finishing your A-Levels, BTEC studies or equivalent qualifications and looking to launch a professional career, our Early Careers Accounts Trainee Programme could be the perfect next step. We're now inviting applications for our Early Careers Trainee Programme in Accounts, designed for individuals ready to begin a rewarding career in accountancy. You'll gain hands‑on experience, professional training and support towards a recognised qualification, helping you develop the skills and confidence needed for a successful career in accounts. From day one, you'll gain practical experience supporting the preparation of accounts and working with a variety of clients across different industries. You'll learn how businesses operate, develop your technical accounting knowledge and build strong professional skills in a supportive environment.
As your confidence grows, so will your responsibilities. You'll have opportunities to work directly with clients, contribute to projects and take on increasingly challenging work as you progress through your training.
We'll provide the technical training, study support and personal development opportunities you need to build a strong foundation for a long‑term career in accountancy. You’ll join a training contract, combining practical client experience with professional study towards the AAT Level 3 qualification.
You’ll also train as part of a group‑wide cohort, connecting with other trainees from across the Sumer Group to share experiences and learn together.
