MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to the duties outlined in the current “School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document,” the post holder will:
- Teach all curriculum areas suitable for children aged 4-11
- Contribute to the well-being and ethos of the school
- Participate in curriculum development, both individually and as part of a team
- Promote equal opportunities and implement the school’s Equal Opportunities policy
Qualifications:
- Recognised appropriate teaching qualifications
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
Knowledge:
- Understanding of the primary curriculum
- Ability to employ diverse teaching strategies for various abilities
- Effective evaluation and flexible planning skills
- Experience in assessment and recording of pupils’ development
- Ability to incorporate ICT and cross-curricular themes in teaching
Experience:
- Teaching experience in primary schools or school placements for N.Q.T.s
