MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to the duties outlined in the current “School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document,” the post holder will:
  • Teach all curriculum areas suitable for children aged 4-11
  • Contribute to the well-being and ethos of the school
  • Participate in curriculum development, both individually and as part of a team
  • Promote equal opportunities and implement the school’s Equal Opportunities policy
Qualifications:
  • Recognised appropriate teaching qualifications
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
Knowledge:
  • Understanding of the primary curriculum
  • Ability to employ diverse teaching strategies for various abilities
  • Effective evaluation and flexible planning skills
  • Experience in assessment and recording of pupils’ development
  • Ability to incorporate ICT and cross-curricular themes in teaching
Experience:
  • Teaching experience in primary schools or school placements for N.Q.T.s
