MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to the duties outlined in the current “School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document”, the post holder will:
  • Teach all curriculum areas suitable for children aged 4-11
  • Contribute to the well-being and ethos of the school
  • Participate in curriculum development as part of a team and independently
  • Promote equal opportunities and implement the school’s Equal Opportunities policy
Qualifications:
  • Recognised appropriate teaching qualifications
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
Knowledge:
  • Understanding of the primary curriculum
  • Ability to employ diverse teaching strategies
  • Effective evaluation and flexible planning skills
  • Experience with assessment and recording of pupils’ development
  • Proficiency in incorporating ICT and cross-curricular themes in teaching
Experience:
  • Primary school teaching experience or school experience placements for N.Q.T.s
