MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
In addition to the duties outlined in the current “School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document”, the post holder will:
- Teach all curriculum areas suitable for children aged 4-11
- Contribute to the well-being and ethos of the school
- Participate in curriculum development as part of a team and independently
- Promote equal opportunities and implement the school’s Equal Opportunities policy
Qualifications:
- Recognised appropriate teaching qualifications
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
Knowledge:
- Understanding of the primary curriculum
- Ability to employ diverse teaching strategies
- Effective evaluation and flexible planning skills
- Experience with assessment and recording of pupils’ development
- Proficiency in incorporating ICT and cross-curricular themes in teaching
Experience:
- Primary school teaching experience or school experience placements for N.Q.T.s
