Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Coordinator to join our Early Careers team. This role supports the attraction and selection of our junior talent, including apprentices, placement students, and graduates. As the Early Careers Coordinator, you will be pivotal in ensuring a seamless and efficient recruitment process, from initial candidate engagement through to offer stage, providing essential administrative support, and delivering an exceptional experience for both candidates and internal/external stakeholders.

Main Duties:
Candidate Sourcing & Engagement
  • Assist in the creation and execution of recruitment campaigns across multiple channels (university fairs, job boards, Workday, and Smart Recruiters)
  • Maintain strong campus relationships by attending university events, careers fairs, and other recruitment-related activities
  • Ensure candidates are engaged throughout the process, supporting our in-depth “keep warm” activities in a timely manner
  • Build and nurture relationships with students in our talent pools
  • Oversee event administration, including shipping logistics, business representation, and clothing
  • Support with screening work experience candidates and issuing offer invitation letters
Recruitment Process Support
  • Upload job requisitions in Workday and Smart Recruiters
  • Move candidates through the process by issuing online testing and scheduling interviews to maintain clean, up-to-date pipelines in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Assist with assessment centres and all logistics involved such as room bookings, timetable management, pre-event invites, hiring manager packs, and communications
  • Manage the Early Careers inbox and act as first point of contact for all candidate queries, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience from application to offer
  • Support visa submissions for relevant candidates as necessary
Team Administration and Projects Support
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks assigned by the team to help continuously improve the team’s capability and performance
  • Support our Early Careers programme team with ad-hoc tasks including L&D event invites and Early Careers award ceremony event administration
  • Manage the early careers calendar and monitor internal/external event requests
  • Prepare weekly team reports for business areas, to ensure smooth communication within Early Careers
  • Manage PO on behalf of Early Careers

For this role, it is possible to utilise our London office; however, regular travel to our factory in Grove, Oxfordshire, will be required.

Qualifications
Essential
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Proactive approach to improving processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, maintaining professionalism with candidates, hiring managers, and colleagues
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, repetitive tasks, and recordkeeping
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong relationship-building skills with candidates, internal stakeholders, and external partners
  • Ability to work at pace and under tight deadlines
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to contribute to the overall recruitment strategy
Desirable
  • Proven experience in a recruitment coordinator or similar role
  • Familiarity with Smart Recruiters and Workday
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is advantageous
