Job Title: Early Career Teacher (Primary)
Location: Barnsley (S72)
Pay Rate: £120 – £180 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Are you an Early Career Teacher eager to start your teaching journey in a supportive and inspiring environment? GSL Education is working with welcoming primary schools in Barnsley looking to appoint enthusiastic ECTs ready to make a real difference in the classroom.
Job Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging lessons that align with the national curriculum.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and support their academic and personal growth.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a focused learning atmosphere.
• Reflect on practice and take part in CPD to continue developing as a teacher.
• Work closely with mentors, teaching assistants, and leadership teams.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – suitable for Early Career Teachers.
• Placement or classroom experience in a primary setting.
• Passion for creating inclusive and supportive learning environments.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different school settings.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
