Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Humanities looking to launch your teaching career in a supportive and forward-thinking school?

Our client, a successful and inclusive academy based in Braintree, Essex, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Humanities ECT to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to gain experience within a dynamic department and grow in a school that values curiosity, critical thinking, and academic excellence.

About the Role:

Teaching Humanities subjects (History, Geography, or RE) at KS3 and potentially KS4, depending on specialism

Creating engaging, inclusive, and thought-provoking lessons

Working collaboratively with a well-established and experienced Humanities team

Participating in a structured ECT induction programme with strong mentoring support

Access to high-quality CPD and career development opportunities

About You:

A qualified Humanities teacher (or due to qualify by July 2025)
