About the Role

Are you an ECT looking for work in schools to gain more experience?

Connex Education is working with primary schools in Stockport that may need supply, temporary cover on a daily/weekly/termly basis. This can be covering any year group from EYFS up to Year 6. This will be given upon assignment, and some schools require you to take prepared lessons with you, but some provide the work for you.

For ECTs, it is a fantastic way to get your career kickstarted in teaching! Being on supply can give you insight into the various schools we work with and can give you an idea of the type of school you would like to work in on a long-term basis.

Pay scale is dependent on experience and level of qualification.

Person Specification

• Have a teaching qualification (BA/PGCE)
• You MUST hold UK QTS
• Experience in schools in the UK
• Be confident in working with potentially challenging behaviour
• Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
