Job Title: Early Career Teacher
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £120 - £130 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

As an ECT, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge pupils while receiving the mentorship and professional development needed to complete your induction successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support student achievement.
• Participate in professional development and mentoring sessions to enhance your teaching practice.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending completion by September 2025.
• A genuine passion for teaching and making a positive impact on students’ lives.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to learn and take on feedback from mentors and colleagues.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
• Have anupdated CV(covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps).
