The post entails being part of a motivated team, working independently and within a team mainly in community and other settings as required, providing a high standard of quality clinical care. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, developing, and implementing individualized care programmes for patients with diverse clinical needs including vascular problems, diabetes, rheumatology, and MSK.
The post holder will also be expected to plan and manage their own domiciliary caseload, support podiatry assistants, newly qualified staff, and students.

The successful candidates will join a progressive team committed to improving care for patients with Podiatric Conditions.
We seek a Podiatrist who is enthusiastic, highly motivated, and capable of working autonomously, managing high-risk patients, biomechanical/musculoskeletal conditions, and Nail Surgery.
You will be responsible for patient assessment, care planning, and treatment daily.
You should be highly organized, work on your own initiative, and be aware of professional and national guidelines, staying up to date with current best practices and demonstrating interest in CPD and clinical audits.
Applicants should hold a BSc/Diploma in Podiatry, be HCPC registered, with at least twelve months of experience in various podiatry specialisms and a keen interest in advancing clinical and professional skills.

The post holder will work independently in community and acute settings, providing high-quality clinical care aligned with Band 6 Podiatrist competencies.
You will assess, diagnose, develop, and implement care plans for patients with various needs, including LTC, chronic diseases, vascular, and wound management.
You will collaborate with Specialist leads, manage caseloads, screen patients effectively, and provide assessments and treatment plans for long-term disorders, rheumatic and inflammatory conditions, learning difficulties, stroke, mental health, and physical health issues. Educational opportunities for staff and patients will also be part of your role.
You will autonomously manage complex caseloads involving diabetic and non-diabetic foot problems, amputations, neuropathic and vascular issues, rheumatological, immunological, dermatological, neurological, and mental health problems, using appropriate diagnostic techniques and knowledge.
This post requires a DBS check due to the nature of work with vulnerable groups.
