ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Associate Manager, Facilities Management, you will play a vital role in driving the success of Facility and Sustainability priorities in our organization. You will be part of the Global Real Estate and Facilities (RE&F) organization and report directly to the Sr. Director, Global Real Estate and Facilities.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with the RE&F leadership team and help coordinate the work of the RE&F team. You will provide Facility Program oversight and liaise with all SCJ office locations globally to develop and implement Sustainability Programs in alignment with business strategies.
To be successful in this role, you must bring the following: strong program/project management skills, a passion for sustainability, and the ability to drive the priorities of the organization and implement creative solutions. You will advocate and promote sustainability in everything Facilities is involved in.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Track all RE&F initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional partners and preparing regular reports to communicate progress, results, and recommendations to the organization
Identify and mitigate risks and obstacles that may arise during the implementation of initiatives.
Coordinate and oversee energy, waste, and emissions technical assessments
Utilize data analysis and site assessments to set goals supporting objectives/targets
Oversee third party outsource supplier and process for reviewing data from sustainability management tools, such as building automation systems, utility billing, and meter data to inform strategies
Develop glide paths and scorecards to benchmark facilities and track progress
Work with cross-functional teams to implement conservation measures
Lead weekly/monthly staff meetings, including agenda topics, meeting facilitation, meeting minutes and action items
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement in strategic planning and execution.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, sustainability, or related field
5+ years of facilities and/or real estate experience
Qualified candidates must be eligible to work in the United States
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS
Experience working on sustainability reporting and initiatives related to energy, emissions and waste reduction for facilities functions.
Project/program management experience
Sustainability Facility Professional (SFP)
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong general business acumen and ability to influence others while understanding impacts of decisions
Data Visualization skills and the ability to create meaningful/understandable reports and presentations based on the audience

Full time business hours Mon - Fri
Must be flexible to take calls & meetings across time zones
10% domestic and international travel
This role is not eligible for relocation
