A leading university in Scotland is seeking a Career Coach to support recent graduates facing employment barriers. The role involves facilitating placements, mentoring, and providing guidance to enhance employability. Ideal candidates will have a background in career guidance and a passion for helping others succeed.

The Careers Service forms part of the wider umbrella of Student Services based in the Bernard King Library and is made up of five teams:
The University now seeks to appoint a Career Coach.
Reporting to the Careers Service Manager, you will work with recent/new Abertay graduates who face significant barriers to employment, supporting them to develop confidence, and progress towards a positive employability outcome(s), including:
The role requires a qualified and experienced careers guidance practitioner, with an interest in working directly with graduates with disabilities, impairments, or lifestyle restrictions.The ideal candidate will have knowledge of key graduate attributes in relation to University students, along with experience of working on their own initiative as well as part of a small team.Familiarity with a coaching approach to guidance, and capability to develop excellent working relationships with clients and employers would be highly desirable.
