Role Overview

In this senior role, you'll be leading and line managing the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Teams.

What's in it for you?

• Leadership: Lead the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering teams, supporting the business, team, and colleagues to achieve maximum potential. Hold responsibility and accountability for areas such as wellbeing, performance management, absence management, conduct, and development.
• Business Strategy: Lead and support the Building Services strategy for the business. Support the development of the Building Services service plan for the Concertus Group strategic business plan.
• Collaborative Success: Support the Associate Director by linking effectively and proactively with other teams within Concertus Group, whilst managing the team effectively with adherence to commercial performance and resource management via productivity and time methods.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Delivery: Responsible for improvements in productivity, efficiency, and connectivity in professional areas (project, programme, sectors, and clients), ensuring projects are completed to fee, within budget, quality requirements, outputs, and time.
2. BIM Expertise: Hold an expert awareness of BIM, its strategic and operational importance to Concertus, and how it is used by design and property teams. Lead and manage teams and individuals to implement our BIM strategy and processes, ensuring compliance and quality.
3. Exceptional Service: Provide clients and colleagues with exceptional service, adding value by going the extra mile and creating a positive and professional impression of Concertus as a senior representative of the business.

What We're Looking For

• Proven Experience: At least five years' experience in consultancy practice or for a large contractor in a design capacity, along with a degree in Building Services and ideally MCIBSE and/or MEIT status.
• Industry Expertise: Experience in professional aspects of building services, including energy conservation, sustainability, building regulations, planning legislation, and health and safety.
• Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communicator who can engage, listen, relay information accurately, and understand all services provided by Concertus. Ability to sell Concertus services to clients.

Additional Details

Pay: Up to £65,000 per year (Dependent on experience)

Hybrid Working: Flexibility with hybrid working from our Ipswich offices.
