Maths Teacher Position in Wigan

Tradewind is recruiting on behalf of a client secondary school in Wigan for a Maths Teacher to start in September 2024. The role is initially until Easter 2025, with potential extension until the end of the academic year to cover maternity leave. The pay rate is up to £211.96 per day, depending on experience.

The school aims to develop students into logical thinkers, problem solvers, and lifelong mathematicians. The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4.

Requirements:

1. QTS or equivalent
2. Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
3. Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
4. Complete career history
5. Minimum of 2 references, including the most recent
6. Legal right to work in the UK
