We offer a vast range of roles spanning the UK, all rooted in a culture that welcomes diversity, fosters talent, encourages internal movement and progression, and places safety as our number one priority.

Role Overview

Lead our procurement division to excellence in handling goods, services, contracts & costs.

In this outstanding opportunity, you will spearhead the management and development of the Good & Services Contracts and Cost teams, ensuring flawless execution of procurement strategies across the Good & Services projects.

Your role will be pivotal in inspiring change and encouraging collaboration, strictly adhering to a culture that values diversity, talent development, and safety. Implement and promote Goods and Services contract strategy for £20M+ projects, guiding teams from start to finish. This is a Management Level grading. You will work closely with Category Management and Delivery Managers to determine priorities and ensure seamless integration of goods and services. Additionally, your collaboration with the legal team will be key in developing robust contracts and engaging in commercial negotiations with contractors, consultants, and occasionally customers.

Critical Metrics
  • Develop and share comprehensive mentorship on outstanding contract management practices, ensuring universal understanding and adoption across various contract types and values.
  • Achieve early identification of risks and issues, effectively managing them through the P&CM division to avoid disruptions.
  • Support contract managers across the organization in achieving consistent, high-quality contract management through training, mentorship, and sharing standard methodology.
  • Successfully manage strategic and critical contracts, demonstrating a proactive approach to achieving ambitious business goals.
About You

Seeking candidates with a strong technical background and an Honours Degree or equivalent experience in quantity surveying or related field. Professional chartered status and significant commercial experience are preferred.

Your Programme Management experience should be backed by outstanding skills in contract negotiation, risk allocation, and project delivery strategies.

Logical thinking, problem-solving, and minimal supervision will be your strengths, along with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, allowing you to deliver projects flawlessly.
