ABOUT THE ROLE
ProfessionLX specializes in professional services where we engage our employees to empower them to excel for our customers. We are currently seeking full-time Data Entry and Customer Service Clerk candidates to join our team in support of the US Air Force in RAF Mildenhall. This position will provide support to the military families at RAF Mildenhall to ensure clerical and administrative support to family readiness programs. Successful candidates will possess 1 year of data entry experience, proficiency in MS Office applications, and a familiarity with military protocols.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Front Desk & Client Services
- Greet visitors and answer incoming calls with professionalism and clarity.
- Provide information and direct clients to appropriate M&FRC program managers.
- Schedule clients for classes, programs, and seminars using the AFFIRST system
- Monitor and assist clients in using the Discovery Resource Area, including computers, printers, and other equipment.
- Maintain the neat appearance of the front desk and resource area, ensuring materials are organized and equipment issues are reported.
- Assist in preparing and updating program handouts, flyers, and pamphlets.
- Track and manage the check-out and return of reference library items.
Administrative Records & Data Management
- Maintain and update internal tracking documents for service members separating within 24 months.
- Save and organize documents in appropriate shared drive folders.
- Monitor status updates daily and alert TAP program manager of any members nearing separation without having initiated the TAP process.
- Input and update data in AFFIRST and Excel spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy in both internal records and external referrals.
Transition Counseling Coordination (TAP)
- Coordinate weekly with the TAP Manager to identify eligible service members.
- Send email invitations and schedule Initial Counseling and Pre-Separation Counseling appointments.
- Assemble and maintain Pre-Separation packets, replenish supplies, and notify the program manager when inventory is low.
- Follow up with absentees to reschedule missed appointments.
Capstone Appointments
- Track TAP enrollees and identify those approaching their 90-day Capstone window.
- Schedule Capstone appointments, communicate required documentation, and provide electronic resources in advance.
- Reschedule missed appointments and maintain consistent communication with service members throughout the process.
Requirements
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- 1 year experience in data entry.
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to quickly learn customer facing software to assist when needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
- Understanding of military protocol, structure and chain of command.
- Experience with MFRC or similar services
