Job description

About the role:

An ideal candidate for this role will be detail-oriented, organized, flexible, handle multiple tasks, and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced work environment. You will be part of a dynamic Sales Operations team with a successful track record in various sales functions, including sales forecasting, reporting, data validation, maintaining SSOT (Single Source of Truth), partner communication, and onboarding.

You will find it easy to analyze and manipulate data in spreadsheets using advanced functions and formulas (e.g., Lookup & Reference, Pivot tables, Math & Logical). You will have extensive experience working with databases, using SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, anomaly detection, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions. You should be proficient in documenting processes, maintaining SSOT, creating user guidelines, and enabling business teams to operate efficiently. Flexibility to perform repetitive tasks and adapt to fast-paced changes is essential.

Technical Skills Required:

Data Analysis and Interpretation: Proficiency in SQL and dashboard/table analysis.

Spreadsheets: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel/Google Spreadsheets.

Dashboards: Ability to create charts and tables using SQL queries in data visualization tools.

Collaboration/Communication: Experience with Office 365, chat/messaging tools.

CRM: Knowledge of Salesforce.com (Lightning version) as a sales operations user.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project-specific requirements for partner onboarding, sales reporting, demand planning, pricing, and promotions.
  • Define data dictionaries for processes and reporting, maintaining SSOT.
  • Develop business reports such as partner performance, sales anomalies, cost-to-serve, sales & marketing spend, and account-specific P&L.
  • Monitor data pipelines and coordinate with engineering teams to resolve issues.
  • Execute SQL queries to extract data, validate, and investigate data anomalies.
  • Interpret data through tables, charts, and reports, making inferences using descriptive statistics and trend analysis.
  • Use in-house reporting tools to configure, publish, and maintain KPI reports.
  • Publish periodic performance reports and recommend improvements for various stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams like Account Management, Sales Operations, Finance, Demand Planning, Technology Development, and Engineering Support to ensure smooth processes.
  • Respond to operational issues, coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
  • Coordinate with different teams on integration points and resolve related issues.
  • Suggest ideas to improve processes and workflows.
  • Develop process playbooks and maintain documentation on activities and deliverables.
