If this sounds like you, we are pleased to announce that we have been engaged by one of the UK's most prominent construction and civil engineering organisations to recruit a Group Environment and Sustainability Manager. This senior role sits at group level, overseeing sustainability strategy and environmental compliance across their diverse project portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead the environment and sustainability strategy across the business divisions.
• Oversee ISO 14001 audits to ensure environmental compliance, liaising with regulatory bodies such as the Environment Agency.
• Manage ESOS and SECR reporting, ensuring the achievement of sustainability KPIs.
• Represent the company at industry events.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of ISO 14001 and environmental compliance within the construction industry or a related sector.
• Experience with BREEAM, LEED, and WELL frameworks is desirable; training opportunities are provided.
• A degree in a relevant environment or sustainability field, with membership of a certification board such as IEMA or ICRS.
• Excellent vocational skills and stakeholder engagement abilities, with the capacity to work across a portfolio of projects.
