Job description

Experienced data analyst to analyze the existing Database or Data Warehouse jobs and work with Data Modeler in designing the Data Products on GCP.

Key responsibilities:

1. Backtrace the Database or Data Warehouse jobs and prepare STTM (Source-To-Target Mapping) sheets.
2. Identify the source and downstream systems involved in migration/re-imagination.
3. Identify data ingestion and consumption patterns and define target state requirements.
4. Assist the Data Modeler in designing Enterprise Data Products.
5. Understand Data Model terminology (Conceptual, Logical, Physical Data Models).
6. Apply enterprise data modelling techniques such as star schema, snowflake schema, etc.
7. Utilize data de-normalization and normalization techniques.

Key skills/knowledge/experience:

1. Experience in Advanced SQL, SSIS packages, Python, and Shell Scripting.
2. Knowledge of ER Studio.
3. Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform components such as GCS buckets, BigQuery, Kafka, etc.
