Job description

Based: Remote / homeworking with occasional attendance at Habinteg Offices, either London or Bradford.

Hours: Full time – 35hrs/week

Salary: £38,646

Habinteg are recruiting to an exciting role within our organisation, and we are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our newly formed data team. The Data Analyst is responsible for:

• Identifying and prioritising opportunities for automation and streamlining of data processes.

• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data and reporting requirements and deliver automated, efficient solutions using SQL, Power BI, and other tools.

• Supporting business-as-usual (BAU) reporting by designing, maintaining, and improving recurring dashboards and reports to meet internal and external reporting needs.

• Documenting and standardising data processes, ensuring consistency, traceability, and ease of knowledge transfer across teams.

• Working with system owners and data stewards to enhance data quality, resolve discrepancies, and establish clear data ownership.

• Supporting the transition from manual processes to automated, scalable data workflows by introducing best practices and guiding teams through change.

• Providing training and support to staff on data reporting tools and best practices to promote data literacy and a self-service reporting culture.

• Contributing to the development and delivery of strategic data initiatives and continuous improvement projects that align with Habinteg’s digital transformation goals.

About you

You have a passion for data analysis and reporting to help drive and improve services. You have a keen eye for detail, can extract and analyse complex datasets and are able to represent these in a way that is accessible to a range of stakeholders including tenants, senior managers, and colleagues. You are committed to supporting the organisation in leveraging data effectively by gathering, analysing, and visualising key datasets to inform decision-making at all levels, provide service insights, process improvements and business planning.
